Now the Department of Justice is trying to go further. It is pushing to create a $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded payout program to benefit January 6 defendants and partisan allies.
Not to lower your grocery bill. Not to bring down gas prices. Not to protect your family's health coverage. To benefit people who were prosecuted for their role in the January 6th Capitol attack.
