Walkinshaw’s Signature Brings House One Vote Away from Epstein File Release

September 10, 2025

Washington, DC -- Today, moments after being sworn in, Congressman James Walkinshaw (VA-11) announced the following statement:

“Moments after being sworn in to represent Virginia’s 11th District, I became the 217th Member of the House to sign the discharge petition to force a floor vote on bipartisan legislation requiring the release of Jeffrey Epstein–related documents.

Survivors deserve transparency and justice, and I will leave no stone unturned as we pursue justice for the survivors and victims. The Epstein files must be made public.”
