Walkinshaw Applauds Court Ruling Forcing Trump to Follow the Law and Release Food Aid for 42 Million Americans

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman James R. Walkinshaw (VA-11), a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, applauded a federal court’s decision ordering the Trump Administration to release emergency SNAP contingency funds that Congress has already approved.

The ruling forces Trump to follow the law and ensure that 42 million Americans — including children, seniors, and veterans — receive the food assistance they deserve.
