Statement on Indictment of James Comey

Washington, DC -- Today, Congressman James R. Walkinshaw (VA-11) released the following statement on the indictment of James Comey: 

"The indictment of James Comey is naked retribution from a weak President. It’s a gross abuse of prosecutorial power designed to intimidate public servants who refuse to bow to Trump. No one is above the law—including those who weaponize it."
